| 8 | I've had a G1 for about year, via T Mobile, and as PDAs go it's pretty good.
The slideout QWERTY keyboard and intuitive touchscreen make for an enjoyable surfing experience - it flips the screen to the horizontal when you slide the keyboard out.
The internet on it seems quite fast with 3G and wifi.
The Android apps platform offers true flexibility. I've added a spirit level and flashlight to mine, but there's a huge number of games and fun things you can add.
As a phone, it does the usual stuff. Speakerphone, speed dial, fancy ringtones etc. I use it mainly for the net.
My only real criticism of the phone would be the battery life. It seems to get through it pretty sharpish when surfing the net - it's hard to say just how quickly but definitely quicker than previous pdas I've owned. You still get a fair few hours though, so not a massive issue.
This phone is no iPhone, but then it doesn't come with an iPhone price tag.
Overall, 8 out of 10. For internet on the go, go get one !
